Richland County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a woman they say forged checks at a number of Midlands banks.
According to Sheriff Leon Lott, Antwone Anderson, 33, and an unknown female suspect broke into a vehicle on May 23 at 3509 Lake Avenue and stole the victim’s purse, cash, cell phone, bank cards, personal identification cards, and GPS system.
Anderson and the unidentified female suspect immediately began forging checks at area banks, Lott said. Both Anderson and the female were captured on video surveillance equipment at a bank on Parklane Road.
Lott is asking for assistance in identifying or locating the female suspect. To receive up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of the persons responsible, you are urged to call your anonymous tip to Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
