The Springdale Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying suspects they say stole 44 tires valued at more than $30,000 from Cherokee Kenworth Inc. in Springdale.

Police say on Sunday, Jan. 6, officers were dispatched to Cherokee Kenworth Inc. at 707 Cherokee Lane in Springdale for a larceny.

The report said between 11:20 p.m. on Jan. 5 and 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 6, multiple suspects entered the fenced in parking lot by cutting a hole in the fence.

Police say once inside, the suspects removed 44 truck tires and the rims valued at over $30,000.

The suspects appear to have experience with trucks and removing the tires, according to police.

Police say the suspects then left blocks underneath the trucks that they had removed the tires from and left the lug nuts on the ground.

The suspects then left through the same hole in the fence.

Surveillance photos captured the two main suspects, who appear to be wearing dark clothing.

One suspect appears to be wearing a pair of dark coveralls. The second appears to be wearing a dark colored hooded sweat shirt with a design on the front and dark pants.
