The Cayce Department of Public Safety will partner with Harvest Hope Food Bank to reduce hunger in our community by holding a food drive during May and will collect donations of non-perishable food items at several locations throughout Cayce.

Capitol Senior Center renaming celebration set for April 18

Come out and join community members in celebrating the legacy of the late Senator Isadore Lourie as the Capital Senior Center is renamed "The Lourie Center".

The Capital Senior Center Renaming Celebration will take place on April 18th from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. The celebration will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and live entertainment. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available.

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts on Tuesday, March 5 presented the Sheriff’s Medal, which is the highest law enforcement honor that the sheriff can bestow, to one veteran Lexington County Sheriff’s Department deputy who recently retired.
