Boil water advisory issued for some West Columbia residents | Environment

The City of West Columbia has experienced a water line break that affects all water customers in the following area of West Columbia; the 100 block of State Street to C Avenue, C Avenue to 9th Street, 9th Street to Jarvis Klapman Boulevard, Jarvis Klapman Boulevard to the Saluda River Bridge, and Sunset Boulevard from Jarvis Klapman Exit to State Street.

When the water line is repaired and water service is restored, water customers in this area should boil any water to be consumed until further notice.  If water customers near this area, but outside of the defined boundaries, experience loss of water service, please follow the boil water advisory instructions.
