Report: Suspect on motorized cart stuffs $100 worth of steaks in pants | Crime
While using a motorized shopping cart a suspect stole $100 worth of steaks from a local grocery store.
According to a Lexington County Sheriff’s Department incident report, on Saturday a man wearing a cast boot on his right leg entered the Piggly Wiggly located on Augusta Road and got onto a motorized cart.
The report said the man then went to the meat department and began stuffing steaks in his pants.
A store employee followed the man outside the store. According to the employee, the suspect got into the passenger side of an older model Chevy truck.
The report said the driver of the truck then stuck his middle finger up at the employee before driving off.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 40’s between 5’8”- 5”10” last seen wearing a white hat, a black t-shirt, khaki pants and a cast boot on his right leg.
