Report: Man pepper sprayed, robbed outside mobile home | Crime
A West Columbia man was pepper sprayed and then robbed outside his home, according to a Lexington County Sheriff’s Department incident report.
On Saturday, deputies responded to Dubbs Avenue in reference to a robbery.
Upon arrival, officers met the 34-year-old victim who stated that he was robbed and assaulted outside his residence.
The victim told officers when he pulled up to his mobile home and exited his vehicle, an unknown female approached him and asked if he would like to have sex with her, the report stated.
The victim said that’s when a male suspect came from behind and sprayed him with pepper spray.
According to Sheriff James Metts, the female suspect then grabbed the victim and held him down, while the male suspect removed his wallet from his pants.
The victim advised deputies that he observed two more people with the couple as they fled the scene, the report stated.
According to the victim, the four suspects were described as two black males and two black females who appeared to be 20-25 years old.
The four suspects were last seen leaving the trailer park in a small gray 4-door vehicle, possibly a Dodge, the report stated.
