Hotel robbed at gunpoint, suspect sought | Crime
Springdale Police is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect that robbed the Cambridge Plaza at gunpoint.
Police say officers responded to an armed robbery call at the Cambridge Plaza at 650 Cherokee Lane in Springdale on Monday.
The report said at 9:30 p.m. an unknown suspect entered the hotel lobby with a pistol and demanded money from the cash register.
The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say the suspect was wearing a red jacket with a hood, a white stocking cap with eye holes cut out over his face, and blue jeans.
Witnesses say the suspect may have been traveling in a light colored vehicle and that he may have had a slight limp when he walked.
