USC player talks about leadership with SGES first-graders

University of South Carolina football player Coleman Harley visits with first-graders at Saxe Gotha Elementary to talk about how he uses The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People as a college student and football player.

Saxe Goth Elementary students study the 7 Habits as part of the The Leader in Me program.

Since implementing The Leader in Me in the fall of 2010, Saxe Gotha Elementary students, parents and staff members have united around a shared vision that focuses on the importance of setting goals and taking ownership of those goals.

The program helps students build self-confidence and develop skills they need to be leaders in and out of the classroom on a daily basis.
