Retailers, restaurateurs, food service personnel and anyone interested in products manufactured or produced in South Carolina is invited to attend the Second Annual South Carolina Specialty Food Association Buyers’ Market Monday, September 10, 2012.

The market will take place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Senate’s End, 320 Senate Street, Columbia.

The Buyers’ Market brings together the best South Carolina Specialty Food products in a central place, making it easy to find new seasonings, rubs, barbecue sauces, teas, rice and grits mixes, gourmet mustards, jams, and a lot more.

Buyers will have the chance to meet more than 50 South Carolina Specialty Food entrepreneurs and sample their delicious and one-of-a-kind products. All attendees will be entered to win a South Carolina Specialty Food gift basket. You must present a business card for admission to the event.

The South Carolina Specialty Food Association is the only statewide organization dedicated to promoting the best specialty food products available in the Palmetto State.  For more information on SCSFA or the Buyers’ Market, contact Jackie Moore at 803-734-2210, or visit www.agriculture.sc.gov/specialtyfoods.
