The South Carolina Cattlemen’s Association (SCCA) will hold its annual meeting on Saturday, March 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Phillips Market Center located at the State Farmers Market in West Columbia.
This one-day meeting brings together cattle producers from across the state for informational sessions, training, and a luncheon. Some of the informational sessions will include a legislative update, leadership training for new members, and the newly-formed SC Cattlewomen’s Organizational meeting. There will also be BQA training held by a representative from Clemson University. Mr. John Queen of Southeastern Livestock Exchange in Canton, N.C., will lead a session on cattle marketing and management.
